Fun In the Sun Kitten and Butterflies

They tickle my nose with their vibrant wings 
I stretch in the sun; I’m ready to play 
Butterflies are gentle they don’t have stings 
I love to have fun on a sunny day

Watching butterflies settle on a rose 

When a butterfly lands on my pink nose
I jump and the butterfly flits away
Watching butterflies settle on a rose
I hope they will return and play some day

In Sept. thousands of monarchs make their annual fuel stop (on goldenrods) along our beaches where I live. It's quite a sight, except for those !@#$% ladies who pick them off and stuff needles up their rears to make artsy collages1 Damn them, I say.
