Full Moon

Dark
                Spreading
               Tiny stars
               Are shining bright
Followed by the full moon high in the sky

I love the simplicity of your words here, and how the form expands as if you are stepping out under a night sky.

Hello Rachel, the full moon is beautiful. I stare at it often. I look closely and I see a face. I see the stars shine. sometimes i see a fallen star. I watch the sky. Hugs. Darlene/

Darlene, what a perfect complement—a short poem. Both the crescent moon and your words have a special place in my heart.
