The neophyte apostle Thomas, was filled with doubt and inhibition. Knowing Christ had died, his faith began to flounder. For Judas’s lecherous betrayal had transformed faith’s flame into embers; left to smolder in his heart. He saw Jesus’s death as Divine Providence, and the rumors of His resurrection as bombast! He nursed a dolorous heart; broken by grief. But, when he looked upon the face of Jesus and placed his fingers in His wounds, he wept tears of joy; fueled by belief.
