Front Page of Paper
Front Page of Paper
What if new poem I were to start;
Everyone ended up tearing it apart;
Completely re-wrote the whole thing;
Tears to eyes of people did bring.
Who saw an email stammer and stutter?
Become confused by all of the clutter;
How many times will words be changing?
Until they end up mentally deranging.
Not only that, contents can be cruel
Just like you are fighting a big duel
Then back from poem must stand a bit
To see which way words should fit.
Through clutter of poems was carousing
To see which one would be arousing;
My attention was caught as I read a batch
Of poems wondering what could be the catch.
Can you imagine that I got by somehow?
And am a Poet Laureate here and now
And right before my twilight slowly neared
My poems on front page of paper all appeared.
