From This Day On

I have seen many mornings
Through my own eyes
The seasons change before me
Winters snows follow summer rains

VS. 2
Ev'ry path that I've chosen
Has been my own decision
But somewhere in the evening light
I have prayed for a miracle
Someone to share my life with.

From this day on, my heart will beat with your heart
From this day forward, your life will be my very breath
From this moment on I chose to take a chance upon tomorrow with you
From this moment on our lives shall be as one.

I am called from my fam'ly
You from your home
We are called to be one now
One in mind, one in body and soul

And we ask our God's blessing
Upon our life together
The keeper of our wedding vows

Yes, life becomes beautiful and meaningful when one is united with a life long companion and the two take a vow to live together in love and mutual fidelity till the end of life. I am so happy for you dear Sam as you find your marriage vows, the commencement of a new beginning with God at the center of your life. Marriage becomes a sacred union, when there is love. Sad, for many it becomes a noose. Lovely sentiments expressed.
