From The Workshop Collection-A Poetic Good Guy

At least once a week I

Try

And be a good guy

Never do I lie

What? Did I make you cry

Or sigh

Dear hon

We are not done

It's starting to be fun

Being with you

Known as a special two

Since our love is true

Using romantic glue

Am I through

To believe

For all to see

Our fingers held together

Challenging any threatening weather

In this life

Where one day I will make you my wife

So, let's say I do
And call it quits with one amazing cracker jack jewel

Please don’t refuse

You are the one I choose

What do you mean?

My dream

Has turned into a nightmare

I am now alone and scared

You said no

I am your beau

Now I have not a thing

Except this engagement bling

Put it on ebay

Bid it away

Let someone take it off my hand

Call it their commitment band

I now walk the streets

Searching desperately needing a nice, tasty, sweet,

Discover a chocolate shoppe

Decided must make a stop

Cafe revealed

Banana split that was real

Enjoyed sitting with my ice cream

Acting like a rejected teen

Then she arrived

Shining light, ready to guide

Down a path

Showing, smiles and a laugh

Young enough

Displaying innocent stuff

Comforting thought

A new treat, I just caught

This one did not say goodbye

Instead married me, a good guy
