From the Other Room

Here I stand like any normal day
Looking up as I feel your presence
Dare I glance at your reflection
From beyond the glaring window
Fixated on your silhouette
The shadow of a man I knew all too well
The outline of your face
Awakening a dream and a memory
Ultimately moving out of view
Alas, nostalgia returns to oblivion
