From the Dark Side of the Moon
Nightfall in the city
As the moon appears in the night sky
City dwellers are either having a drink
or are off to dreamland
On the other side of the moon
Someone is waiting, waiting for the
earth to revolve again
Can't you see we are being watched?
Cold eyes from space
peer out at
the fragile inhabitants of our planet
Our fate does not lie within our grasp
Soon the masters will reveal themselves
From the lunar landscape
comes our only hope
It is really a shot in the dark
But it is our best chance of
humanity remaining on earth
until the next millenium rolls around
