From the Clouds To the Sea {swap Quatrain}

I watch the clouds as they drift by
Like nameless faces in the sky
They quiet all in me that’s loud
As they drift by I watch the clouds

Like the rain I shed my tears
For I have finally faced my fears
Bringing peace to what was insane
I shed my tears like the rain

As raindrops fall the river flows
Nourishing the flower as it grows
I have found peace in it all
The river flows as raindrops fall

The river drains into the sea
As I learn to be all I can be
Set free from all my pains
Into the sea the river drains

Beautiful poem, Michael. We all shed our tears, and sometimes it helps to wash away the hard times. If only we could let all of our cares flow into the sea, like the river you beautifully described. God Bless....Carrie
