From the Clouds

Gazing upwards I see stairs descending downward Toward me I see the Lord looking down on me I know I’m not worthy but thanks Lord for looking after me Saving my soul and my sanity If only, He had touched ground that day But today was not the Day and anyway, I thought I heard Him say, “Wake up!” And at that very moment, I did. In a cold sweat. Sleeping next to Bud, snuggled in a sleeping bag, under the stars with the occasional cloud passing by . . .
