In the '60's I thought we were headed to the Stoned Age Psychedelics were huge, PCP was everywhere Yet by the '80's America had turned the page Teen-agers newly serious, off came their hair ... And today, post-pandemic, where do we stand Seems it's every man for himself ~ Never mind where we land

Couldn't agree with you more. It truly is every man (woman) for him or herself. Having lived through and survived the 60s, I thought I could handle most anything. Thought nothing would shock me or rattle my cage. Such is not the case. I find the world chaotic, unsettling and deeply disturbing. I did, however, take solace in your words knowing I'm not alone. Thank you for your insightful comment, Sara... Yes, indeed, we are not alone. And so many of us are unsettled by the nature of today's cultural and political discourse and disconnect. Somehow it will come to a head, though, methinks, sooner rather than later. Let's hope so! Thanks again. :) gw
