From Sea, Earth and Sky, All the In Betweens

From Sea, Earth And Sky, All The In Betweens So sweet, splashing waves of Spring's fawning crest beauty dear sent at Nature's kind behest, vivid sprouting colors, its brilliant sheen fresh dawn's soft-born glows, its peacock like preen! Invigorating as earth, wakes to live splendorous as Mother Nature yet gives, a'plenty, its fields of flowering greens from sea, earth and sky, all the in betweens! Inspiring hues, as poets so oft describe Hope awarded to all, with nary a bribe, plenitude of rainbow colors, a feast giftings of life, with Love never the least! Wherein, mankind sees Nature at its best. So sweet, splashing waves of Spring's fawning crest! Robert J. Lindley, 1-25-2020 Sonnet, ( As seen in the mind's eye from Spring of '73 ) Syllables Per Line:10 10 10 10 0 10 10 10 10 0 10 10 10 10 0 10 10 Total # Syllables::140 Total # Words::::::100 Note: From darkness was born light From sadness was born anew Once blinded now clear sight Heart should be pure and true. This poem was born as a healing and a remembrance that one must recover from anger and forgive those that are steeped in darkness, envy, hate and any of the other evils that so beset mankind. With that in mind I went back in time to a most joyous and wonderful time in my youth. And thank God I was then so very blessed....

Congratulations on your POTD. "Beautiful" I love at the end you added," This poem was born as a healing and a remembrance that one must recover from anger and forgive those that are steeped in darkness, envy, hate and any of the other evils that so beset mankind." So sad when people can't forgive. Life is sooooo short. I have never understood envy. Have a wonderful day...........

The fascinating beauty of Nature.. its lofty and renewable spirit is the embodiment of elevation and truth.. the epitome of God's grace and creation.. Great souls who are able to connect deeply with such a height and depth translate their state of heart and mind in meaningful impressive poetry that would ever look up to divine grace both in Nature and in human nature.. Congratulations, Robert, on your POTD honour! A well earned recognition for such a beauty! My deepest regards and blessings.

"Wherein, mankind sees Nature at its best" This thought lifts me up. "Nature" - a beautiful creation, created by Our Creator. There are many in the World taking the beauty that surrounds us, and making it ugly. In so many different ways. Shame on them. To make a difference in the World, we must act better, be better. Your thoughts are lovely. The images you paint with your words, bring a smile. Congratulations Robert, on Poem of the Day. :) Brandy

Thank you my friend. I am sure I am remembered, and much of that is with loving and pleasant smiles. I gave her true and deep love and she failed to appreciate it for the treasure that it is/was..

Thank you my friend. This sonnet was composed about the time in my life when love was new and held such romantic passion that even Nature and its beauty could not match. Youth and such a blessing it was to be so deeply in love...
