From Far Away
From far away
I saw you today
and you seem
more beautiful
than when last I wrote.
But the only reason why
was the smile
set upon your face,
that seemed to shed a warm glow about you,
like a precious gem
shining in the sunlight.
You should
be like this more often,
for it shows
your true beauty and happiness,
both of which I adore.
I may express
my feeling's in writing,
but your smile seems
to do so much more
and definitely is a better work of art.
Maybe one day
while sitting far from you
I might catch
a peice of
your light,
then I might find a way
to show you what I have
for you within,
with a smile.
