From a Distance

From a distance I saw her face. So sad, so hurt, so alone. The wind blew over her red hair. The anger in her grew and grew. From a distance I saw her face. Her pain was so far to others. No one knew, no one cared. From a distance I saw her face.

Her pain was so far to others...I am not sure I understand this. Do you mean distant to others by far? The idea is very nice,but I am not sure I get it. warm regards.... have a good day today! aloha, Koko
