From An Acorn

From an Acorn by Barbara J. Henry From a modest acorn Comes the huge oak tree. Is there any explaining this mystery? How can something so majestic, so grand Emerge from a small nut lying dormant in the land. How do I grasp the miracle Of such perplexity? Is there any explaining The acorn's progeny? Some things defy explanations; the acorn's relationship to the oak tree is just one of the miracles of nature that has always fascinated me. (c):2009
