That it does. I can speak first hand of that chill living here in North Dakota. I really like the opening line in this one. Thanks for asking about me and for your kind comments on my poetry. I'm still up and down with my health. Just something I've come to accept. God has given me many blessings to off set the challenges. You have such a caring heart. Have a wonderful week. Karen

Frigid temperatures appear to be the norm this last while, especially in Scotland. Fine Haiku Phyllis. Have a lovely weekend....:)

I keep telling my wife, Florida looks good. I looked at the bank clock on the way to work and it had -5 on it and I asked my self what am I doing here. My daughter called and said it was getting cold down there(Florida) all the way down to 60. I said sorry if I'm not sympathetic. Gotta love it. Vince

Right on! It was 7 degrees this morning. Brrrrrr! Yes, professional sports is crazy - way overrated. I like the college game though because I spent so much time going to and teaching in colleges. Love, Dave

You must be having a severly harsh winter, Phyllis. I got chills just reading your wonderful haiku. Well said! I saw Robert's comment below and had to laugh. I do believe he lives in Florida too. Love, Carolyn
