Friendship is True Love

I used to be convinced that I had never experienced true love i’d never made it that far across the bridge spent 6574 days as just one body But then I remember the laughter, the splendid summer days, coffee fueled study dates hugs warmer than the sun that beat down on us even during the cruelest of winter’s outbursts Tears that turned into smiles fears that transformed us made us who we are today The clock never stops running but our lives remain forever intertwined on the outside it may seem that you are simply my friends but if i’m honest I owe the largest part of my heart to you.
