Friends and Enemies
Your success is your friend’s distress
Your friend’s distress gives you self-praise
Your enemy is the closest watcher
Your friend in the distant watcher
Your enemies conceal their rivalry
Your friends reveal their rivalry
Your friends compete with you
Your enemies deplete you
Your enemy wears a mask
Your friend masks your wear
Your enemy’s enemy is you friend
Your friend’s friend may be your enemy
