Friends

Young ones, old ones Always seem to know ones How many good friends do you have? Happy ones, flappy ones Indecisive chatty ones Spending hours talking on the phone. Forget the ones who bore you Quite often ignore you Unless there’s something in it for them. Friends to watch a film with Dance the night away with Lending you their shoes and new red shirt. Kind ones, wise ones There when times are hard ones Never leaving you on your own. Friends to share a cake with Friends to stay awake with Talking all night about the guy next door. Sad pals, mad pals Up to no good gals. How much fun did we have? So here’s to the best ones The always can be bothered ones. Thank you one and all.

nice, I like the funny light humor to most of this, with a poignant statement to 'The always can be bothered ones." true friends
