Best Friendshipnight Poems
My, what a wonderful day!
Yo-yo's, popsicles, and popcorn are O.K. to take to the park and play.
Birds are pleasant to hear in the mornings.
Every night I know you are there by me hearing your snoring.
Shopping at the mall sounds fun.
Thoughts and things that were different you didn't shun.
Firecrackers at night were an exciting sight at the beach.
Riding on a horse while getting pictures taken by a photographer was really neat.
Including taking your children to work.
Everyone enjoyed watching you make doughnuts.
New ones were made each time. They were so delicious.
"Dainty by physique and how beautiful you are," men would say. Only politeness
was shown in response. You always treated everyone the way they should be
treated. Furthermore, I'm running out of words tosay. Sophistication was your way.
Young ones, old ones
Always seem to know ones
How many good friends do you have?
Happy ones, flappy ones
Indecisive chatty ones
Spending hours talking on the phone.
Forget the ones who bore you
Quite often ignore you
Unless there’s something in it for them.
Friends to watch a film with
Dance the night away with
Lending you their shoes and new red shirt.
Kind ones, wise ones
There when times are hard ones
Never leaving you on your own.
Friends to share a cake with
Friends to stay awake with
Talking all night about the guy next door.
Sad pals, mad pals
Up to no good gals.
How much fun did we have?
So here’s to the best ones
The always can be bothered ones.
Thank you one and all.
Come down
Until I have to rise above to smile
Been there
The ultimate dispute for us to share
Somehow
I realized the time was to beware
Sell your soul
As long as you can maintain your style
Drifting
Apart from everything that once was not
Dead!
This flaw of judgment remaining untrue
Call again
You look for me, but I still run from you
Burning ash
Builds conquered lungs in this embrace, so hot…
Scented pain
Is what I feel at night when I steal your breath,
Do it now!
And pretend another pleasure dressed as youth,
Fading out…
I turn night in day, and what I say in truth,
All bled by now!
That useless wrist may make you happy, but will not bring you death…
she watches me leave with the summer night breeze
i feel her heart wishing this was the night we wouldn't part
being only who i can be - solid and free
reading eachother like an open book
having eachother mentally hooked
the time goes by so fast while we sit and speak of our past
no lies no denies both for real that's the deal
a safe place to go where no one has to know
only having to be one thing -me
