Friend Qualities

My closest friends came to be serendipitously
acquaintances through circumstances...
age deepened respect through several years...
honesty, laughter and tears abated fears...
now that we are here... by faith we persevere

It seems 'to take a village' to keep me in ink...
I appreciate each of you, all you do and think
Two, because of you, helped me want to stay...
The kindness of your ways, I still admire today
