Friend But Now a Foe
A friendship such as ours, was truly something great
Not to brag a bit, of course, but others, they would hate
Years gone by and there we were, our friendship only grew
Companion, friend, confidant, family were we two
Now my friend no more, my heart, can only guess
Why have you gone, dear friend? My brain is such a mess
When you truly love someone, friend but now a foe
It’s hard to say goodbye, it’s hard to let them go
