Friend
FRIEND
A friend is like a bright sparkling mirror,
since long with pride I have hung on my wall.
It does not lie to me, I do admire,
always helps me face me at my pain's call.
A friend is like the sky over my head,
brings down sunshine and rains of need for me,
takes me to lie on stardust strewn dream bed,
daylight shows me the path I fail to see.
When my old muse starts poetic journey
poet who paints visits, finds me on site.
I have learned, we share charms of art many,
poems find words and rhyme, I get insight.
