Freedom's Voice (For Our Troops)

We hear your voice across this nation
We send our love and admiration
Now standing in awe of what you do
We dedicate this day to you.

On nine eleven our world was torn
Only to rise, our strength reborn
An end to terror our only choice
And you became freedom's voice

Our country will not be intimidated
Terrorists will be eradicated
We stand behind you until the day
When you come home to the USA.

They destroyed two buildings side by side
They will never destroy American Pride
We the people, with our hearts we say
To our troops, Happy Valentine's Day.

Nice job. It seems now & days that not enough people care about our troops, its such sad thing too, that people dont have the respect they should for those who fight for our lives. Some of my best friends are in the military. It breaks my heart in half that they will have to go through that torment, & that some of them may not ever come home once they get shipped out, or will come home traumatized, & not the person(s) i knew and & luv. Danke for this poem and 4 caring ~Jese

a great write Vincent, we can't bring our troops home until the time is right, which i hope is very soon. We need to have a victory, so this whole thing won't happen again. enjoye this poem and thank you for reading my little insect and for your comment
