Freedoms Price

Bodies raining down A nations heart ripped open Savage flames assail Tomorrows, lost in ashes The blade of hate has spoken The stain of 9/11 will be forever in our hearts. It was the day a vicious wound was inflicted on our nation. We staggered, but did not fall. We survived. We are America.

Excellent poem, Bob. I agree it was a horrendous situation. It was certainly as a result of hate, New York rose to the occasion and supported each other. America survived and we are glad you did. THere were 3000 people lost and some of those lost were Canadian and British, we felt for your pain and we lost lives with you. Well done. Lee
