For the three minute poem contest by Matt Caliri

The UK Government have started to release prisoners early, due to overcrowding.  One criminal released, sexually abused a women on his first day out....

Overcrowded prisons,
brings joy to early released criminals.
Taxpayers may be happy,
but there's predators at playgrounds,
rapists at bars,
stalkers, stalking,
violent hooligans back at matches,
abusers contacting their exes,
jealous lovers beating new spouses.
Mobs on the streets,
will only bring mayhem,
unless vigilantes rise,
whilst the police hide.
Who will protect the traumatised victims?

Such convicted prisoners should be castrated before giving them liberty.

Yep, many seemingly good, humane, merciful ideas, are crap when put into practice. Some people belong in prison, so they can't hurt others, and hopefully not themselves. Cruel and inhuman punishment, I do not favor. That only perpetuates the same evil we appall. Good one, Si! I agree with Woody, about the same happening in the US. We need to stop allowing criminals into our nation, we have more than our own share. Immigration needs to be limited, and orderly, that way Newbies can rationally assimilate.

I love the way especially youv written “ but there's predators at playgrounds, rapists at bars, stalkers, stalking,” how terrifying! And i love this “ predators at playground” you are a walking prompt that inspires not just me but so many! And you will always be my muse! Thank you! For sharing! Sending you light today and always!

Nice quickie and pertinent. The US has similar overcrowding issues. There's just too many bad people! Anyway, you poetically brought the issue to our attention

To sum up, so profoundly, in 3 minutes, the Big Picture of rampant injustice, takes deep awareness of what truly is going on around us, Silent One. Thank you for not being silent on this travesty of justice. Your question begs for answers, and accountability. Subject close to my heart. (Thank you, Warm Hugs!, and Hope you do well in the Contest too... :))
