Freedom, O' How I Envy Thee

freedom where do thy lay
in thy garden, or in thy heart?
i fall on knees praying
o' where do thy rest
while i cry
the tears you shouldn't have too.
o' freedom, how i envy thee,
is freedom achievable
is thy just a paradise?
i believe not
but some may say so
freedom is my envy.
pray thee that thy
will show thyself
before my unworthy eyes.
God, please let me
see thy's freedom
in truth.
