Freedom

RED PETALS ARE RAINING DOWN UPON MY HEAD
AS IN SILENCE I VISUALIZE THE DEAD
FACES BORN OF MY IMAGINATION SOME SET IN PAIN
SOME SPARED HEREAFTER TO REMEMBER AGAIN

RELATIVES CROAKING HEART WRENCHING GOODBYES
WIVES AND LOVERS WITH TEARS IN THEIR EYES

MY HEART GOES TO MINE HAPPY AND FREE
NO THOUGHTS OF WAR NO NEED TO BE
SAFE IN A COUNTRY WHERE FREEDOMS THE PRIZE
WON BY THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE

AND ONLY A GENERATION AWAY
I CAN`T FEEL THE EMOTION THAT SOME DO TODAY
