Freedom

Smiling, chuckling, giggling, now brimming, sanity's laughter,
Peals of happiness swell to sweet nightingale's force,
  Hearts beat madly, Hope-balloons rise:
   Hallow the bright sun's rays--
    Yes!

I bet you are a big party guy... decorating the whole house on every holiday... Lovely words, lovely thoughts, superbly written, as always. Ann

Where did you find this one?!… At any rate, at parties, I'm usually the first Wolf out the door. LOL. Oh, well. I've got a bit of crowd-a-phobia, I'm afraid. Cheers, Gershon

Gershon, an inspiring and uplifting poem (must be the helium in the hope-balloons :)) Lol! I love your poem of freedom from worry and sadness and freedom in laughter, happiness, hope and yes! sunshine!! Finally free of winter! Love the use of the word 'hallow'.. Your poem just freed a smile on my face - A great write, my friend. Warmest wishes.. ~Susan

Ah, a smile brought to your face is as precious as laughter of the heart. You, mademoiselle, have just made my evening with your extraordinarily kind comments. Here's to helium! :) :) gw

Thanks, Line. It's better than helium.
