Heidi Sands Poet Free verse

Free To Roam

If I am free to roam, I will travel this beautiful creation
I will spread words of wisdom wherever I can on my way
I will share love with strangers and bring unity through miles
The rivers will guide me with sparkles, dancing from the sun
The mountains will give me strength, whenever I am tired
The flowers will help me to keep growing and learning
The bird’s warbling songs will lift my spirits on difficult days
If I am free to roam, I will share a piece of everything I see
All of this, to witness the smiles on the faces of others
Every footstep will result with a significant purpose
Each lake would reflect what I have learned in my travels
My travels would be enlightening and purposeful in God’s will
In all of this journey, it is God’s will that will have the final say
