Notes About The Poem

Free of Storms

Winds soften
Breezes caress our cheeks
Moonlight smiles
Upon us
Mist hovers
Our love a mysterious gift
As clasped hands bond us as one
Gentle kisses
Dance like fireflies
In the night
Midnight becomes silent
Our thoughts tranquil too
Love needs no words
As a new day opens its doors
Blue birds gaily sing and
Chirp to the arisen
Dawn has arrived

Hurricane Maria has evaporated
