Free Flow
Write from the heart
Write from the soul
Find your life’s purpose
That is your only goal
Is it though? Is it really?
Doesn’t that all sound a bit dreary
Writing from your heart is a good place to start
Writing from your soul is a good goal
But finding the purpose
That seems complicated
Searching for meaning seems a little outdated
We are expected to have our lives together
we are expected to shine through all sorts of weather
Why can’t we be spontaneous and go with the flow?
Life has many changes, situations come and go
They tell you to have it all figured out and know just what to do
Life can leave you feeling like you’re an animal in a zoo
Why do we let ourselves be put under so much pressure?
Our minds are fragile little things
We should handle them like treasure
Free your mind and understand that it’s never too late to walk a new road
Life shouldn’t be about sticking to one certain code
So dance in the rain and let your mind feel free
Run in the fields of flowers and climb the biggest tree
Change the job you have if it’s not making you content
Scream into the rainy days let your lungs vent
Embrace the good days you have but also embrace the bad
Life is a journey, not a race don’t spend it being sad
Don’t let people put pressure on you to be conditioned and know how to act
Stick to your guns, live your own life and have your own pact
So write from the heart
Write from the soul
Everything else can wait
remember if you need a change in life it is never to late
