Free Cee I Weep For the Deeply Deprived

I WEEP FOR THE DEEPLY DEPRIVED Weep for the waifs in a world we call the third The woeful ones with bellies empty of nourishment They are trapped while Americans remain free as a bird Children chided by a lack of energy and encouragement How sad it is to see childish stomachs distended and unfilled ignored by a country wherein food is summarily turned into trash While a rash of unconcern burns deep into the arid soil of the Sudan Ominous omnipotence rules Europe and the U.S.A. As hunger pervades and invades invalids and youthful deprivation Haute cuisine is never seen in the middle of misery and mayhem And novenas mean nothing if uttered in reluctance and vain While pain rages as Aids adds an exclamation mark to starvation A nation negated by sustenance and satisfaction as a frail faction of people receive a fraction of what they need A breed who bleed in a citadel of situational depression Whose impression of indecency is fueled by intrepid apathy Souls with black holes in a universe cursed by non-contrition Spirits who suffer spurious and furious insults to their bodies And a deleterious deficiency of decency and delight Where a blight of beauty beleaguers them with insidious insistence As the only consistency is a cantankerous and callous collusion between confusion and sorrow And the desperation of tomorrow is a terrible and tormenting truth I cry for the cruelty of incredulous indecency and denial And the innocent inhabitants of sorrow and sand Their lives are for fate and misfortune to defile As they languish in a lamentable and lascivious land © 2012…PHREEPOETREE..~free cee!~
