Free Cee a Dysfunctional Disease
A DYSFUNCTIONAL DISEASE
It's simply unfair
each day I awake from a dream to face the negativity of yet another nightmare
I live in a world wherein problems flourish like daisies on a bright sunlit day
a place where no one can hold horror at bay
I inhabit a land where peace is a rare commodity indeed
a miniature universe bathed in grief and greed
the inhabitants ask “can I have this but give you nothing in return?”
and each being is just another soul to spurn
look to the left and that which you see ain't right
gaze to the right and what you find are b*stards and blight
I can't envision a time when this nightmare will end
and please wake me only if you can guide me to a true and righteous friend
the word “friendship” here ain't in the dictionary at all
and each insult makes me feel two feet tall
they insult my intelligence minute by minute
I search for a place of ease and there ain't a bit of it in it
and i'm tired but am afraid to fall asleep
frightened by a secret the moon is determined to keep
so I lay awake sitting upright in a chair
filled with falsehoods and fear
this place is like a forest burned down by a ferocious fire
and the only thing i'm sure to find is another fuc*ing liar
so tonight i'll lay my head in a lascivious lair
and wake up to another nightmare that simply ain't fair
