Free As a Bird

Sue had a notion to cross the ocean She boarded a ship gave the porter a tip The air was bracing her heart was racing -- Her mask she'd forgotten O, this trip would be rotten But once out to sea Sue felt suddenly free Breathed deep the fresh air Pulled up a desk chair She watched dolphins cavort soaring birds of all sort Their masks also forgotten yet no trouble they'd got in

Aww, the ocean and no mask. A brief and beautiful salty respite from the facial covering which I swear I wear. Dolphins and birds, no sadness heard. I'm glad she had a wonderful trip after all. I like this poem so, so much. It was darling and a lot of fun 2 read

Yet it is interesting that many get sick in the sea air...watch out! Throwing overboard.

I was on a fishing boat where the galley staff had been munching on celery and one came to the gunwale to upchuck; it came out like green rope causing one after another, fore and aft, to upchuck. Put me off celery for life!
