The tears flow freely at times
I know they will not bring you back
And my heart might ache like
It’s in pieces today
But it will never compare to the pain
You had to endure
I miss you every second
And I know you are looking down on me
Smiling; because where you are
We all long to be
I miss our chats
I miss you just being here
Your presence in my life
You did so much
You cared so much
You loved so much
It was an honour to have you as my mom
Thank you for the blessing you have been
Thank you for the example you've been
You are the biggest part of me
And so you will remain
I do not question God's work
I thank Him for His grace
I love you mom
Safe in His arms
