Free

As I look up I see a blue sky with puffy, white clouds slowing moving. I noticed a huge portion of gray to the left which gives a sign rain is on the way. I feel the drops as they sprinkle on me, so I go inside, for I am free. The next day, crickets make loud noises from the trees as I sit on the ledge enjoying a slight breeze. Birds fly ever so freely, one fly from one tree branch to another, two fly together, no matter what the weather. They just flap and go. Are they looking for someone? We will never know cause they are on the move. No home to stay, they are free to fly and they fly, fly away. It is so hot out here, I think they hide in the tree for shade. Do they worry like we do? They're too free, they wouldn't be. Are they homeless? They can fly anywhere, they shouldn't be. I hear chirping sounds as I write, are they fussing or I wonder, do they ever fight? They are free as can be. They can fly on a roof top or fly to an ocean or walk by the sea. What is freedom? A cell can limit your destination, but your mind has freedom, unlimited imagination. You can travel, expand and broaden your horizons through imagination. Fly with me, for I am free as I want to be. Free to see the birds, free to travel without luggage. I have frequent flyer miles, so feel free to fly with me. Right now I will close my eyes and fly to Paris. It is hot, it's exciting, it's fun. I see the Eifel Tower, it is beautiful. Now I am free to fly to Hawaii. It is cool, it's colorful, relaxing and peaceful. The calm waters soothe my soul. I am free to write, you are free to read. Thanks for freeing your mind to fly with me in a blue sky with puffy, white clouds. So, what is free? Is death free or living with unlimited imagination free?
