You're free they say,
He's gone for good.
Reliving the pain,
Will you do you no good.
You don't have to fear him,
now that he's gone.
His life is over,
Your life is long.
I can't stop the nightmares,
That go back tto the day.
Where my favorite uncle,
Took my childhood away.
Shhh keep it a secret,
To protect this man,
if only as parents,
they did what they can.
No they were Drinkers,
Our life was wild.
So today I mourn not him,
but the loss of that child.
