Frankenstein's Tea Party Is the Talk of the Town
It's Fall, and the night starts to creep up with stealthy footsteps.
The sky is darkening and getting stormy.
Lighting volleys down as thunder calls.
Leaves have all curl and tall trees have swell from fear.
Frankenstein's tea party is the talk of the town.
The house and garden have been decked with string-out bulbs
blinking red, orange, and black. Tables set in black color shawls
with unfussy floral arrangements, masks and gloves at the door.
Playing loud through the Bluetooth speakers,
welcoming the cool night shiver and loud echoes
of monster mash music.
The bats are announcing the guest arrival
flooding the doorstep with darkness.
Ghosts quickly push their way through begging to come in.
To stop the spread of Covid 19 or Delta Varies
Dracula, Beetlejuice, Boris Karloff; are wearing decorated masks
like Michael Jackson Sequin Sparkle and rubber gloves.
Beetlejuice, Frankenstein, and Dracula are singing karaoke.
Witches are talking about their toil and trouble.
The night comes to an end and all the party guests
said thank you for the lovely evening.
