Frangipani Delight
Frangipani Delight
Another drab evening in a menagerie of unfit suitors
And here I am, among the mockingbirds, amused and ashamed
This ancestral ritual of confidence and cougars
A pellucid behavior of the blind curves, drunk blame
The twilight long past and now ripples of new
The immature beauties that thrive to infuse
A luscious perfume of frangipani delight
When I showed no response, she took a seat to my right
We talked there for hours and her eyes were so kind
When vermilion lips; stopped talking, touched mine
