Fraidy Cat and the Rat

There once was a fraidy cat
so afraid, it encouraged a rat
The rat bit the cat, it took a big bite
but even then the cat would not fight

So the rat bit off some more
into the guts of the cat he tore --
Yet the rat denied that he was at war
‘twas a ‘feeding frenzy’ ~ safe to ignore

A crime permitted is a crime committed, so ultimately, the harshest punishment will be justifiably defended...ab

Is this rat- cat story an analogy of our Russia- Ukraine war ? But 'endurance' cannot be stretched to this extent ! This 'feeding frenzy' has to be curbed

Well it could be US (Biden) vs Russia (Putin), or it could be any conflict in which one side is afraid of the other... :) gw
