Notice then that even fear
Succumbs to unrelenting change 
In the axis of new patterns
As undying hope regenerates
From buried and frozen stasis
Awaiting that abrupt awakening
When heat thaws icy frost
And spring percolates to summer light
Hurling forth new evergreens
