As if each verse makes good sense
This tacit bluff and sly masquerade
Embalms even lifeless still life
Beyond canvas or poignant picture
As a living mantra chant echoes
Or else implodes in eternity
Beyond the shifting echoes
That rise and fall and rise again
In these enchanted sand dunes
