Foxes

A fine family of foxes, a feisty mom and her two kits living near humans by shrewd wits. Her constant success flummoxes. Kits are tiny jack-in-the-boxes, heads bobbing while mom baby sits. NB: Other - Sextilla: A Sp. stanza form of six octosyllabic or shorter lines. In the classic period, the usual rhyme schemes were abbaab.

Smashing write, Linda. I used to watch mum and baby foxes venturing out from our previous house… and your depiction is spot on. Terry

They are lovely critters Terry. We've caught her in a live trap (set for possums and racoons) but, of course let her go. She has little fear of us. Thanks for reading and commenting! :)

Thank you BJ. They are cute little things. They live across the road from me, close enough I can watch them. :)
