Four Minutes Or Forty Years

Four minutes to write a poem.
Where to turn? What to write?
Four minutes to make it perfect.
I am laughing now. Loud guffaws.

Forty years might not be enough
To perfect this art, to make it right.
Forty years I doubt I have left.
But will I waste time pondering this? I hope not.

Thank you Richard. My paintings have suffered but I plan to rectify that.
