Four Chapters

Chapter one
stars fall down
the region around is white
a worldly celebration
renews the spirits of all
as toys spin around
people drink to the last drop
and the yearly orb cascades
a new round to serenade life
Chapter two
millions of eyes open
the green takes over
cutting through weakened frost products
lilies and roses rise again
and denizens of the streets
catch a fever
Chapter three
heat invades
ice cream becomes popular
the sand feels right
water gets thrown around
boats drift from island to island
paradise is forever in memory
Chapter four
jade angels fall
with red wings
trees appear wicked
candy is given away freely
witches fly on brooms
pumpkins make faces
turkey is celebrated at the table
prayers and grace glorify the past
digging in till every stomach is full
Finally, as the end draws near
a tall tree stands in a house
with decorated boxes under it
Now, these 365 pages
will be read over and over again
until the end of time
