Fountain of Youth---The Geriatric

This Shepherd boy hath long lost his flock,
Daydreaming in a daze
Not a thought I gave to the Time on the clock-
For those are the prudish ways!
Live in joy and merriment,
A Happiness without end? Ha!
I could never be more content
Than to have my Youth again!

Ahhh!! I swear I love your poetry more than I do John Keats' at times. You have your own unique style and its brilliant, I don't just mean the archaisms, but the concise expression of various themes and ideas. First two lines aswell, they stand out boldly and you can't ignore the metaphor there. You get me all enthusiastic about poetry :P Still though, I hope I don't feel like this about youth when I get older, suppose it's likely though.

Aiden, that compliment touches me to core of my Soul, for Keats is one of my favorite poets as well, and he has inspired me time and time again. I cannot thank you enough; "thank you" doesn't even begin to articulate my sincerest appreciation. It elates me to think I have inspired another poet, as so many have inspired me :)
