The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Forty Five Foot Oak

impressive palm print
fills the bulk of the forest
forty-five foot oak
leaving me warm memories
heavenly haven for crows

I was thinking how a giant tree looks so much like a giant palm with fingers and thumb extended.

I love a big oak tree. I have about ten of them in the forest I live in. One is directly behind the house. If it ever gets hit by lightning, well, let's just say, I hope it never does!
