Forsaken Ll

I am restored,

                                                nothing more to break.

                                               Even through my division,

                                                 nothing more to move.

As I rise, through the ashes,

                                              this whole world must fade.

For these are the words i cry.

                                                       I will take back,

                                                      all that is mine.

My passion will be my bond,

no more will I live in flesh.

                                                  I will be forever faithful,

                                                     with no more fear.

                                                   No more wasted days,

                                                      and I will not be

                                                           forsaken.

Howdy, JA....I like the spirit of resolution at the beginning of your poem...then you narrow your focus to reclaim your prize...tunnel vision is a powerful weapon in battle..so many get distracted and lose their focus only to be weakened for the fight. No more wasted days....YOU will NOT be FORSAKEN! I say Roses and Sparking grape juice for her tonite!! lol. Much enjoyed this victorious write!

I enjoyed reading your poetry today John Aaron. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. I am going to see if I can write something for a couple contests this weekend. Hope you find the inspiration to do the same. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours. Love, Carol

Won't it be wonderful when the flesh with all its weakness is done away with. The spirit body will indeed, never waste days. So beautifully you bring these truths in such gentle ways. I alway feel like I'm being led by your words instead of pushed. Hugs to you John and I'm so grateful for your encouragement. Love, Elizabeth
