Forsaken Home

Tufts of grass peek from between rotten floor boards,
Once shining blue roof tiles now obscured by leaves and debris,
It takes a special kind of eye to see the beauty in a forsaken home.

Thank you! I think it's often as creepy as it is cool. I love old houses, though. Just maybe not haunted ones!

Thank you! Verse was not brave. I do a lot of very and free verse. I'm glad you enjoyed it! There is nothing cooler than a big old house! I dream of victorians in their strange, lovely colors...

Thanks! Wasn't actually brave enough to explore it, so I don't know about the floor boards, but I loved the multicoloured tiled roof! Japanese houses are so cool to begin with! I unfortunately cannot share pics );
